FIMI Programmes and Training Pvt. Ltd. (PTPL) a subsidiary of Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) has come into existence to organize international/national seminars, conferences, workshops, training programmes to highlight the problems, policies and perspectives of the resource (mineral) based industries and to educating the industry on a number of specific issues for the benefit of mining industry like -- highlighting the gaps in mineral exploration and development, efforts required by different States of Indian Union, policy initiatives to encourage private investment (both domestic and foreign) in mineral sector, issues involved in implementation of the policies and programmes of the mineral industry at large for their benefit. The programmes of PTPL will focus on emerging trends and opportunities in mineral sector in India and abroad, issues related to exports and imports of ores and minerals, emphasis on environment-friendly mining and encourage corporate social responsibility towards overall sustainable development of mines and technological upgradation.
